The Sacramento Saturday Club is the oldest musical organization in Sacramento, established in 1893. It has been running continuously since.

Membership in the Club is richly rewarding. Members have access to unique and innovative concerts not open to the public, they can enjoy the company of like-minded musicians and music-lovers and have the satisfaction of contributing to the musical and career development of young, up-coming musicians as well as the community. Club membership is open to performing and non-performing members.

Its mission is to foster, promote and sustain music in the Sacramento area. It does this by providing monthly concert performances and supporting developing young musicians with their musical education. As a not-for-profit, charitable organization, supporting promising young musicians through scholarships is one of the main activities of the Saturday Club.

Scholarship money is raised and awarded to the area’s talented music students, both instrumental and vocal, with the goal of furthering their musical careers. The club also provides ample opportunities for its members to meet fellow lovers of music, listeners and performers alike, on a social level.

Many of the area’s top music performers, teachers and music enthusiasts are included among our members. Here, men and women of all ages and musical levels can enjoy chamber music performances, piano and vocal presentations in intimate settings, as well as the camaraderie of like-minded friends. We also help foster artistic growth in the musical community of Sacramento, California.
